Or bring your own internet: MR·NET’s $995 first-show trial

MR·NET bonds Verizon, AT&T and T‑Mobile into one booth connection. The first-show trial is $995 plus tax: the gateway with 3 SIMs, 100 GB of data (then $8/GB) and standard shipping (3 to 5 days). For first-time customers: one unit, one show, up to 30 days.

What the show rules say, and how exhibitors set it up.

What SEMA’s rules say

SEMA’s rules have no clause on hotspots or cellular routers. Rule 7.V bars streaming and recording devices, webcams included, without SEMA’s written approval, and Cox’s service terms say “Wireless devices not authorized by Cox are prohibited.” Get SEMA’s OK in writing before you bring MR·NET.

Set it up wired

Once SEMA approves, switch MR·NET’s Wi-Fi off and plug laptops, scan tools and screens into its four Ethernet ports. Cloud diagnostics, service information and dealer ordering then run on one bonded Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile connection.

Blocking and jamming are illegal

The FCC says no convention center or its network operator may intentionally block or disrupt personal Wi-Fi hot spots, and federal law bans jamming Wi-Fi or cellular signals. A show’s own rules are a separate, contractual matter.

Before the SEMA Show
Five things to do.

Ordering MR·NET close to the show? The $995 first-show trial can ship overnight for $175 more. Freeman charges extra for freight reaching its warehouse after Oct 22, so have the gateway sent to your hotel or office, or hand-carry it.

Ordering from Spectrum? Standard rates apply after Oct 2, and orders 72 hours or less before Nov 3 add 20%. Send a booth diagram with the order.

Bringing your own connection? Get SEMA’s OK in writing first at SEMAShow@sema.org (questions: (909) 396-0289).

Order booth power from Freeman, pack a switch and Ethernet cables, and run MR·NET with its Wi-Fi off.

Displays must be in place by 3 p.m. on Nov 2. Test your demo on MR·NET while you set up.

Questions exhibitors ask
About the SEMA Show 2026.

How much does internet cost at the SEMA Show 2026?

Spectrum Business, formerly Cox Business, sells it at the prices in SEMA’s Cox order forms. After SEMA’s Oct 2 advance deadline, a shared line of up to 10 Mbps is $900 and a dedicated 10 Mbps line is $5,400. Orders placed 72 hours or less before the Nov 3 start add 20%, so 10 Mbps costs $6,480. Prices are per event, and taxes and fees are extra.

Who sells booth internet at the SEMA Show?

Spectrum Business, formerly Cox Business, the exclusive internet and telephone provider at the Las Vegas Convention Center. SEMA’s Exhibitor Service Manual links its order forms. Order at lvcc.spectrumhn.net, email DL-LVCC-Orders@spectrum.com or call (855) 519-2624, and include a booth diagram.

When is the advance deadline for SEMA Show internet?

SEMA’s deadline checklist lists Oct 2, 2026 for Cox internet and telephone orders at the advanced rate, and the provider’s forms require orders placed and paid 30 days before the event start. Later orders pay standard rates, and orders placed 72 hours or less before the start add a 20% expedite fee.

Is there Wi-Fi for exhibitors at the SEMA Show?

SEMA’s exhibitor documents mention no free exhibitor Wi-Fi. Spectrum sells booth Wi-Fi hotspots: 10 Mbps for up to 10 users is $2,400 at the standard rate, running from the day before to the day after the event.

Can I bring my own internet to the SEMA Show?

Ask SEMA first. SEMA’s rules have no clause on hotspots or cellular routers, but Cox’s service terms say “Wireless devices not authorized by Cox are prohibited,” and Rule 7.V separately requires SEMA’s written approval for any streaming or recording device. Ask SEMA Show management in writing at SEMAShow@sema.org. If approved, run MR·NET wired with its Wi-Fi off. MR·NET customers have deployed at the LVCC, including for exhibitor demos at NAB Show.

Can I livestream or record video at my SEMA booth?

Only with SEMA’s written approval. Rule 7.V says no entity may use audio or visual recording or streaming devices, webcams included, at the show unless approved in writing by Show Management, and anyone operating a recording device must display SEMA credentials.

Can I sell products at my SEMA booth?

Not for delivery at the show. Rule 7.U lets exhibitors take orders for future delivery only, unless Show Management approves sales in writing.

Can the venue block or jam my hotspot or cellular gateway?

No. The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau says no convention center or network operator providing service there may intentionally block or disrupt personal Wi-Fi hot spots, and federal law prohibits jamming Wi-Fi or cellular signals. A show’s own rules are a separate, contractual matter, so get the show’s OK first. This is not legal advice.

When are move-in and show hours at the SEMA Show 2026?

Move-in runs Oct 29 to Nov 2, and displays must be in place by 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov 2. The show floor is open Tuesday to Thursday, Nov 3 to 5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, Nov 6, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas.

Yes. Use “Get a quote” on this page, tell us what needs to be online, and we’ll get back to you right away, or call (845) 666-0696.
