How Cellular Bonding
aggregates independent channels
Simple to deploy. Built for the worst day on the job.

Compare bonded cellular vs a single-carrier connection.
Simpler to deploy. Much harder to knock offline.

Tell us about your agency.
Every department works differently: vehicles, sites and the systems you rely on.
One short call, and we’ll recommend a simple setup and send you a quote.
First responder setups are quoted individually after a short call. Most quotes go out within one business day.
One managed service.
Nothing to piece together.
Gateway, SIMs, bonding server and support come from one team on one bill, so your crews get rock-solid internet without an IT project.
01
Pre-configured gateway
Shipped ready for your vehicles, command posts or stations. Power it on and it connects. No IT expertise required in the field.
02
(3) Top tier SIM cards
Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile working together for the best coverage possible wherever you respond. No throttles, no caps, only highest tier APNs.
03
Bonding server
Keeps the connection whole when a carrier fails. Managed and monitored by our team, with VPN and static IP options for your agency's systems.
04
Proactive remote support
Our technical support team responds in seconds and resolves issues in minutes, by online chat or phone. Stay focused on your operations and leave network headaches to us.
We're proud to share our client feedback.
Real stories. Real emotions.
Fast bonded connection
Saves a lot of time
The fast bonded connection saves a lot of time compared to shipping multiple pieces of equipment to a location to test connectivity or having staff using different cell providers take their phones into troubled spots and report what did and did not work for them.
Works great
We use in critical connectivity applications!
MR·NET is an M2M communications solution we use in critical applications. We've had a client with some complex connectivity issues, and deployed the MR·NET product to help maintain connectivity, and do some deep troubleshooting.
Got a question?
We've got answers.
Is MR·NET a public-safety network like FirstNet?
No. MR·NET is a bonded commercial cellular service, so it does not provide public-safety priority access. It combines Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile into one connection, and many teams run it alongside their existing public-safety plans and radio systems.
What happens when a carrier is overloaded at a large incident?
The gateway uses all three carriers at the same time. When one network slows down from congestion, traffic shifts to the networks that still have capacity, without dropping the connection.
Why not use a single-carrier hotspot?
A hotspot depends on one network. At a busy scene that network can slow down as crowds and media arrive, and an outage takes you offline until it's restored. A bonded gateway uses Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile together, so the connection carries on over whichever networks are working.
Can we stream live video from the scene?
Yes. Bonding combines the upload capacity of all active connections, which gives live video more headroom than a single modem. Quality still depends on coverage at the scene, and the connection holds if one carrier drops.
Do we need IT staff to set it up?
No. Gateways arrive pre-configured for your equipment and come online in minutes once powered on. Our team monitors the service remotely and handles issues by chat or phone.
Can it go in a vehicle?
Yes. Bonded gateways work in moving vehicles; the same managed service runs onboard Wi-Fi on intercity coaches. For ambulances, fire apparatus and command vehicles we recommend the setup, antennas and installation on the call.
Can we use our own SIM cards?
The gateway supports third-party SIMs. You manage those plans yourself, and MR·NET can't guarantee connection quality or bonding optimization for SIMs it doesn't manage. For best results we recommend MR·NET's managed enterprise plans.
How fast can we get set up for an emergency?
Gateways ship pre-configured and come online in minutes once powered on. Standard and overnight shipping are available, and we can help you plan spare units for emergency deployments.
Can it back up the internet at a station or EOC?
Yes. The gateway can bond a station's wired line with cellular, so the building stays online if the line goes down.
How do we get pricing?
Request a call or send the form on our contact page. Tell us about your vehicles, sites and equipment, and we'll recommend a setup and send a quote, usually within one business day.
