1. Definitions
“MR·NET”, “MRNET”, “MR NET”, “we”, “us”, “our” MOTIONRAY INC. its affiliates, and successors.
“Service Plan” A subscription covering router rental, managed connectivity platform access, technical support, warranty, and related services.
“Data-Usage Plan” A subscription that bills for cellular bandwidth consumed by an MR·NET router during a billing cycle.
“Equipment” Any MR·NET-supplied hardware that a Customer rents rather than purchases outright.
“Customer”, “you”, “your” The company or individual accepting these terms.
2. General Cancellation Right
You may cancel a Service Plan at any time by emailing billing@mrnet.us from the email address associated with your account. No phone call is ever required to cancel, and we will not impose retention steps, fees, or other obstacles on your cancellation request. We will email you written confirmation of the cancellation within one (1) business day.
No Proration. All cancellations take effect at the end of the then-current billing period. Charges already processed are non-refundable and will not be prorated for partial-period use.
Effective Date. Your Service Plan remains active - and billable - until 23:59 ET on the last day of the current billing cycle.
Loss of Promotional Pricing. If you cancel, any promotional or grandfathered rate linked to the subscription immediately terminates. Should you re-enroll later, you must pay the then-current list price; MR·NET makes no guarantee that previous discounts will be available.
3. Step-by-step Cancellation Process
Email billing@mrnet.us with the subject line “Cancel” (or similar), including your company name and, if known, the device tag(s) or plan(s) you wish to cancel.
We will confirm receipt and process the cancellation - no questions asked. If anything in your request is ambiguous (for example, which of several plans to cancel), we will ask one clarifying question by email; we will never require a phone call.
You will receive an email confirmation within one (1) business day. Your plan stays active - at the same price - until the end of the current billing cycle, then closes automatically.
4. Rental Equipment Return.
a. If the Equipment was not purchased, you must ship all hardware (router, antennas, accessories, protective case, etc) to the return address in § 12 within 30 calendar days after the cancellation effective date.
b. Equipment must be in good working order, ordinary wear and tear excepted. You are responsible for return shipping costs, risk of loss, and insurance.
c. Failure to Return. If MR·NET does not receive the Equipment within 60 calendar days of cancellation, we reserve the right - at our sole discretion - to (i) reactivate the Service Plan on a month-to-month basis at the standard monthly rate then in effect, and/or (ii) charge you the replacement cost of the unreturned Equipment.
5. Data-Usage Plan Cancellation & Suspension
Manual Administration. Data-Usage Plans are activated, paused, or terminated manually by MR·NET Team. Submit your written request (device ID and desired effective date).
Billing Rule. If the router reports zero-gigabyte (0 GB) usage during a billing cycle, your charge for that cycle will not be applied.
Automatic Resumption. Any data transmission after a pause will automatically trigger standard usage billing for the remainder of the cycle unless you have separately cancelled the plan.
No Proration. Charges for partial-period usage are calculated solely on actual GB consumed; there is no refund for days when the device was idle but not paused.
6. Effect of Cancellation on Other Agreements
Termination of a Service or Data-Usage Plan does not alter your obligations under any purchase agreement, master service agreement, or sales order that (a) requires a minimum-term commitment or (b) governs Equipment you purchased outright.
7. Reinstatement
If you return after cancelling:
You must execute a new order at MR·NET’s then-current pricing and terms.
MR·NET will require an upfront payment, or security deposit for reinstatement process.
8. Compliance Statement
MR·NET’s cancellation workflow is designed to comply with Section 5 of the FTC Act, the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act (ROSCA), and applicable state automatic-renewal statutes, including - where applicable - California Business & Professions Code §§ 17600 et seq. and New York General Obligations Law § 5-903 and General Business Law §§ 527–527-a. Before any automatic renewal of an annual term, MR·NET provides advance written notice that identifies the renewal and explains how to pause or cancel the plan. MR·NET retains records of disclosures, consents, confirmations, and cancellations for at least three (3) years, or one (1) year after contract termination, whichever is longer.
9. Limitations of Liability
Cancellation does not relieve you of accrued payment obligations. MR·NET is not liable for loss of revenues, data, or business interruption arising from termination or suspension of service under this Policy.
10. Amendments
We may revise this Cancellation Policy by posting an updated version on mrnet.us at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding its conflicts-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved per the dispute-resolution clause in your master agreement or, absent such clause, exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, NY.
